As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. This team ensures the correct behavior of both external and internal input hardware devices, ensuring that OS events are correctly processed and delivered to the application/sysUI layer. In this role, you will focus on shipping a great input experience on our devices. You will develop frameworks to make fixing issues easy and catching regressions automatically. You will have built-in and peripheral input devices that are easy to use and work well on user feedback and use it to improve our product. You will also be responsible to build platform user experience for human interface devices working closely with the peripheral partner ecosystem.
