StubHub is seeking Senior Software Engineers to design and develop next-generation technologies and complex features. As a Senior Software Engineer for CX, you will be at the forefront of tackling significant, ambiguous, and non-trivial challenges as a core contributor and innovator, bringing creative technical solutions to life. In order to ensure our company's success, our Senior Software Engineers must demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm for the problems they tackle. Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) About this CX team: StubHub's Buyer Pricing team is responsible for setting ticket prices and building the systems that power dynamic pricing across StubHub. We are focused on scaling our pricing services to support experimentation across multiple dimensions, both within our team and across the company. This work will unlock new opportunities for teams to test, learn, and optimize using pricing as a key lever for impact.

Requirements

5-6+ years of professional experience in software development
Extensive experience developing robust systems using multiple front-end and back-end programming languages and frameworks (Java, C#, Python, React, Javascript)
Previous experience designing and developing features for consumer facing products
A strong understanding of how their systems interact with the broader production environment, including dependencies and platform primitives
Proven ability to learn other coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools
Experience owning projects from the initial idea all the way to production, and mentoring junior engineers along the way

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across all StubHub’s platforms and products, resulting in high-quality outcomes
Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices across our code
Manage individual initiative priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise
Mentor other team members and help many increase their technical capabilities, fostering a culture of inclusion, results-oriented execution, open innovation, and limitless creativity
