About The Position

Ether.fi is one of the largest crypto companies in the world, managing over $10B in assets with a team primarily composed of technical staff. We have been profitable since day one and are focused on building real consumer applications. Our vision is to create true on-chain banking, with current products like Stake, Liquid, and Cash that allow users to earn yield through various DeFi strategies and spend their assets using our credit cards. We are looking for a senior full backend software engineer to take ownership of core components related to backend architecture, transaction processing, and availability. This role is crucial in delivering scalable and well-designed backend systems, including card transaction processing, low latency APIs, microservice architectures, and on-chain data indexing. Our roadmap includes building everything a neobank would require.

Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and problem solving.
• Experience in shipping impressive products with thousands of real users.
• 5+ years of professional coding experience.
• Drive, willingness to work hard, and go the extra mile.

Responsibilities

• Own core areas of our backend systems and extend current functionality to improve throughput and latency.
• Keep our credit-card processing path highly available and low-latency.
• Work alongside other engineers to ship high-quality code and ensure engineering excellence.
• Engage with core business metrics such as user adoption, revenue figures, and error rates.
