About The Position

CyberArk is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Machine Identity Security team, responsible for the Control Plane Integrations/SDK. In this role, you will help advance our next generation Certificate Lifecycle Management capabilities and shape how global organizations manage and protect their machine identities at scale.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend engineering.
• Proven experience building modern, scalable backend or distributed systems.
• Experience with AI-first development.
• Strong proficiency with Golang, Java, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, high performance engineering environment.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of x509, PKI, and certificate issuance protocols is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and architecture of backend features that enhance the Machine Identity Cloud platform.
• Develop AI-first SDK, tooling integrations (like terraform, ansible, MCP)
• Develop and maintain high quality backend services for the Machine Identity Security cloud platform using Golang and Java.
• Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power the platform’s frontend and system to system integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed services within the Machine Identity Security ecosystem.
• Drive continuous improvement of development practices, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Participate in a paid on call rotation to help ensure platform reliability and a best in class user experience.
