Hinge Health software engineers work on small interdisciplinary teams focused on different parts of the user journey. The Computer Vision (CV) User Experience team is responsible for integrating our TrueMotion CV technology and developing TrueMotion-enabled features that enhance our users' digital physiotherapy experience. These features utilize mobile device camera and TrueMotion to monitor user movement, provide performance feedback and guidance, and track progress throughout their program and recovery journey. As a Senior Backend Engineer on this team, you will play a crucial role in delivering capabilities to both our users and internal care team. This involves architecting and implementing robust, end-to-end solutions, including well-tested, performant APIs and data models. Your contributions will also include proactively profiling systems to identify and address scaling bottlenecks, and maintaining high code quality through thoughtful and constructive code reviews. The team manages the entire stack of our services and applications to achieve these goals.
