Action Your Taste : Our work carries the imprint of everyone who builds it. Role We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Backend & Systems at Noise. You’re a generalist at heart but specialize in backend: designing and building large-scale, distributed, real-time systems, APIs, and data pipelines. You’ll shape architecture decisions, move fast from prototype to production, and own your systems end to end — there’s no handoff here.

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend (or full-stack) development building production services in modern server-side languages (Go, Rust, Java, Python, etc.).
• Proven experience designing, shipping and operating backend systems at scale.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, performance optimization, reliability, and cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent).
• Solid experience working with Kubernetes (K8s), container orchestration, service deployments and infrastructure as code.
• Strong ownership mindset: from concept → production → maintenance, you can own features and systems end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build backend services and APIs able to handle large-scale traffic and real-time data.
• Design distributed systems: microservices, message queues, caching, orchestration, Kubernetes & cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure system scale, performance, reliability, security and observability (monitoring, logging, alerting).
• Collaborate across product, front-end and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Define and drive best practices for code quality, deployment, infrastructure and system operations
