Senior Software Engineer (back-end)

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend or backend-leaning full-stack engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience building scalable backend services
- Experience working in early-stage startups (Pre-seed to Series B)
- Demonstrated ownership of projects from concept to production
- Experience building systems that interact with APIs, data pipelines, or distributed services
- Strong understanding of system design, performance, and reliability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with LLMs, generative AI, or AI-enabled products
- Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure (AWS), containers (Docker), and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Exposure to healthcare or regulated environments
- Experience with TypeScript or frontend frameworks (React / React Native)
- Strong product mindset with a focus on user impact
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale backend systems that power AI-driven healthcare workflows
- Develop and integrate services that interact with LLMs and generative AI models
- Take ownership of zero-to-one projects , from rapid prototyping to production-grade systems
- Improve system reliability, scalability, observability, and overall backend architecture
- Collaborate closely with engineers and leadership in a flat, fast-moving team structure
- Contribute to core product development as the platform expands to new customers and use cases
- Ensure high standards for code quality, performance, and maintainability
Benefits
