About The Position

As an Android Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for large-scale, mobile application development supporting the Walmart Plus Membership experience in the Walmart app, making a direct impact on millions of customers. Requirements

Mastering of Kotlin, and Gradle
Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of REST and use of external data sources.
Experience using the state-of-the-art Android libraries (AndroidX, Retrofit, etc)
Ability to build products with focus on testability, someone who loves test coverage
A disciplined approach to development, code review, testing, documentation and code structure in a team environment.
A constant desire to improve, learn more and take things to the next level.
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 5 years' experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the business partners to provide robust technical solutions to business problems.
Work closely with external stakeholders on refining data contracts and managing development priorities.
Lead fellow engineers through architectural guidelines and best practices in mobile development.
Manage quality and application codebase for one or more products.
