About The Position
The Global Treasury and Payment Network (GTPN) team sits at the core of Airwallex’s payment infrastructure. As Airwallex’s very first product and still the largest revenue driver across the company, GTPN underpins many of our most critical customer experiences. We operate at the intersection of traditional and modern finance, expanding the reach of our global treasury and payment network, strengthening its capabilities and reliability, and delivering innovative payment products built on a robust financial foundation. GTPN is a truly global, cross-site engineering organization, with talented engineers in existing and emerging hubs such as the US, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. As we continue to scale worldwide, we’re looking for passionate Senior Software Engineers to join us. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across regions to build and enhance products that not only meet but exceed our customers’ expectations. As the senior engineer in our new Generative AI team, you will own the end-to-end development of AI-driven solutions that redefine how we provide support and automation for both internal teams and external customers. You will shape the underlying architecture and APIs for advanced systems building cutting-edge AI solutions that enable Airwallex to scale. Your contributions will directly influence innovation, set best practices, and establish the foundation for our expanding AI portfolio. Requirements
- 5+ years in backend software development, with a focus on AI.
- Experience building internal or customer-facing products with LLMs.
- Expertise in building efficient, large-scale software systems.
- Skill in writing high-quality, maintainable code.
- Experience in design and development of large-scale distributed, high concurrency, high load, high availability systems;
- Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
- A relevant degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and deployment pipelines for AI-driven products.
- Past experience in payments or FinTech.
