SambaNova Systems is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, AI Systems. Responsibilities

• Bridge use case requirements from customers or AI / ML community with SambaNova's SW / HW technical stack
• Pioneering work ahead of existing engineering capabilities, in the forms of: enable new ML applications running on SambaNova platform; enable new AI system architecture for achieving better performance and scalability
• Work with internal engineering teams to standardize and robustify prototypes into official part of SambaNova's technical capability

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• 2-5 years of industry experience
• Hands-on experience on AI/ML frameworks (eg. PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc)
• Math/arithmetic understanding on NLP / Vision / speech-recognition models
• Experience on applying NLP / Vision / speech-recognition into real-world use case applications
• Knowledge or design experience on ML systems and performance optimization
• Good Python / C++ programming skills

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience on AI/ML deployment (eg. Kubernetes / Amazon Elastic Compute, etc)
• First author in CS / ML publications
