As a Senior Software Engineer on our AI Infrastructure team, you will work closely with application teams and AI practitioners to rapidly build, deploy, and iterate high-quality AI solutions at scale, ensuring both reliability and effectiveness. Your deep expertise in the software development cycle, along with a strong understanding of data pipelines, will be crucial in crafting a dependable and scalable infrastructure for all of Robinhood to rely on.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on involvement in top-tier ML platform, MLOps, or ML infrastructure or data projects.
• A fervent interest in exploring and applying AI and ML technologies.
• Strive to solve sophisticated engineering problems that drive business objectives.
• Solid technical foundation enabling active contribution to the design and execution of projects and ideas.
• Practical experience with ML platform services like feature/embedding store, distributed training platform, and real-time inferencing service.
• Strong communication skills and ability to write detailed technical specifications.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Golang.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AWS Platform and databases, Spark, Ray, Kafka, and Flink is also desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own and implement high-impact projects for our centralized AI platform with meticulous planning, ensuring quality work within remarkable timeframes.
• Demonstrate technical leadership by providing guidance and expertise in agentic AI workflows, machine learning model development and data pipelines.
• Engage with technical leaders to refine and elevate Robinhood's AI development process through platform initiatives.
• Drive the development to deployment of cross functional AI products with exemplary system design skills and coding, ensuring technical excellence.
• Simplify access to data needed to power AI applications, while ensuring security and governance.
