About The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer at Rev.io, you will operate on the cutting edge of AI-first software development. You will design, orchestrate, and optimize autonomous agents and sub-agents to rapidly deliver high-quality software solutions. Beyond writing code, you will build, identify, and integrate the agents that drive our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), enabling speed, scalability, and innovation in a results-driven environment. Role Overview This is not a traditional engineering role—this is a chance to redefine how software gets built . You will work within a team of elite engineers focused on leveraging AI systems as co-developers, testers, and delivery engines . Your responsibility spans from selecting and building agents to orchestrating their execution for maximum impact, ensuring that our SaaS billing platform continues to evolve with speed, quality, and resilience. You will collaborate with senior leadership, architects, and peers to design intelligent workflows, harnessing AI as a core capability in everything we deliver. In this fast-paced, bar-raising environment , you will set the tone for engineering excellence and help shape the future of AI-native development. Technology & Innovation Stack AI/Agentic Development : LLM-powered agents, orchestration platforms, sub-agent coordination, prompt engineering, AI observability/monitoring tools. Languages : Python, C#, React, Lua, ASP.NET Core, SQL. Databases : SQL Server, Redis, PostgreSQL, MySQL. DevOps & Automation : GitHub/Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, Octopus Deploy, AI-in-the-loop testing & QA. Collaboration & Tracking : JIRA, Confluence, AI-enhanced project analytics.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience (SaaS, distributed systems, or AI-first development preferred).
  • Hands-on expertise in programming languages (Python, C#, or similar) and large-scale system design.
  • Experience with AI/ML models, agent frameworks, or intelligent automation .
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a bias toward fast, high-quality execution .
  • Passion for working in a fast-paced, innovative environment where results matter.

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate agents and sub-agents to deliver high-quality software with speed and precision.
  • Identify, build, and refine autonomous agents to accelerate stages of the SDLC (requirements, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring).
  • Collaborate with architects to design and evolve an AI-native software architecture .
  • Deliver scalable, maintainable code while leveraging agents to maximize throughput and reliability.
  • Apply engineering best practices with AI-augmented development, ensuring solutions meet security, performance, and usability standards.
  • Drive innovation by experimenting with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and agentic orchestration models.
  • Work closely with senior engineers, architects, and product leaders to align on technical priorities and execution.
  • Mentor peers and junior engineers on AI-first engineering practices.
  • Contribute to a culture of speed, accountability, and results-driven delivery .
  • Establish feedback loops for agent effectiveness, optimizing accuracy, reliability, and speed of delivery.
  • Champion agile development practices enhanced by AI-driven automation and analysis .
