Prime Video is a first-stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast
collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of
devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their
favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports – including Amazon MGM
Studios-produced series and movies; licensed fan favorites; and programming from
Prime Video add-on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll and MGM+.
All customers, regardless of whether they have a Prime membership or not, can
rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store, and can enjoy even more content

We are the Partner Experience organization in Prime Video, responsible for
building systems and experiences that enable best in class content management,
monetization, and analytics for tens of thousands of Prime Video’s 3P partners
globally (Hollywood Studios, Media Houses, Post production houses, and content
creators).

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Software Development to lead engineering
teams building services and tools that enable our content partners to deliver
their content to Prime Video in a friction-free manner. As a Senior Manager, you
will use your expertise and high judgement to design team structures and
strategies to meet long-term business goals in areas where problems and
strategies are not yet defined. In this leader of leaders role, you will lead,
mentor, and grow multiple teams building complex distribution systems for
partner onboarding, partner-facing APIs, and large-scale partner catalog
management experiences. You will own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-team
initiatives with measurable impact on content operations and partner experience,
while continuing to build and scale engineering teams through effective hiring,
onboarding, and talent development in the Prime Video ecosystem.

In this high-impact, high-visibility role, you’ll be in an unique position to
have a view into the entertainment industry, and how we can shape the future of
digital supply chain with product, tech, and science investments. You will have
the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, including global
cross-functional teams within Amazon, external executive teams, and technical
teams from both sides while establishing metrics, processes, and best practices
that enable team productivity and quality for the Prime Video Partner
Experience.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
