And we do it all with heart, each and every day.Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Client Data Exchange Solutions (CDES) team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in architecting, designing, developing complex software solutions working with RxClaim on the AS/400 platform. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successful AS/400/RPG/Synon, Experience in legacy system modernization leveraging GCP/Azure, product centric mindset, and the ability to drive the technical direction of the projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience and a deep understanding of AS/400 application development.
- 5 + years of application development experience in RPG, RPGLE and CL; Synon2/E (aka COOL 2/E)
- 5+ years of IBMi SQL experience
- 5+ years of experience leading application teams to deliver technical improvements and initiatives.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with RxClaim or similar pharmacy claim adjudication systems.
- Background in Healthcare or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).
- Experience in legacy system modernization.
- Familiarity with IBMi integration with cloud platforms.
- Demonstrated successful completion of several medium to large scope projects; proficiency working on all phases of SDLC and with problem determination and resolution through research and fact finding.
Responsibilities
- Provide solutions and design complex functionality within the RxClaim application (CDES area)
- Help define standards / methodologies / guidelines, and ensure compliance while aligning solutions to the RxClaim application architecture.
- Lead modernization efforts for IBMi systems, including automation and integration with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
- Leverage internal development tools and CI/CD processes.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and influence best practices.
