Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship
  • A U.S. government clearance or the ability to obtain one
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with3+ years focused on front-end/UI engineering
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and Vue (Vue, Router, Nuxt) or similar frameworks
  • Proficiency with modern testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
  • Experience in accessibility (WCAG, ARIA), responsive design, and UX collaboration
  • Experience working collaboratively in an Agile environment using best-of-breed issue and project tracking tools such as the Atlassian/Jira suite
  • Familiarity using AI tools as part of engineering solutions
  • The ability to collaborate with various teams (product, technical, and architecture) and middle management
  • The ability to articulate technical concepts to middle management and non-technical teams
  • A demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and solve challenging problems
  • The ability to think abstractly, deal with ambiguous/under-defined problems, and learn and adapt quickly

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with UI design tools
  • Performance profiling and optimization experience at scale
  • Knowledge of micro-frontends or Web Components
  • Working knowledge of back-end services (.NET, Node.js, REST APIs)

Responsibilities

  • Lead front-end architecture, design systems, and reusable component library development.
  • Build performance, responsive, and accessible applications with Vue and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Partner with UX designers and product management to turn wireframes and prototypes into seamless user experiences.
  • Drive best practices in accessibility, security, testing, and performance optimization.
  • Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence product direction and ensure business value delivery.
