About The Position

We are seeking a strong engineer to join our team which is focused on building and maintaining a scalable software control platform for Compute Infrastructure. The systems you build will be used by both external and internal customers and provide mission-critical services. Major focus areas of software maintained by the team include: Creating and maintaining highly available APIs for launching and managing Compute resources. This includes not only APIs but highly complex asynchronous workflows, background processing, etc. Designing and implementing highly scalable systems capable of functioning across numerous regions in a worldwide cloud footprint. Maintaining a highly scaled data-plane communicating over Kafka You and members of the team will be called upon to solve many diverse problems, deliver critical customer features, and solve automation problems through robust architectural decisions and customer-first design.
