About The Position

Join our Centralized Systems Control (CSC) team to design and develop the next generation of control software for Computed Tomography (CT) medical imaging systems. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping innovative technology that powers life-saving diagnostic imaging worldwide.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience in C++ and ideally .NET/C#.
  • Strong background in object-oriented design.
  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Expertise in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis.
  • Experience in real-time or embedded software development (preferred).
  • Familiarity with test-driven or behavior-driven development.
  • Experience with hardware communication and EtherCAT or CANopen protocols (preferred).
  • Experience in medical imaging or other regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, and integrate control software for next-generation CT scanners, ensuring high reliability, safety, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to define requirements, enhance software-hardware interfaces, and drive architectural improvements.
  • Support test automation and telemetry analytics to ensure system quality and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to system architecture decisions, innovation projects, and intellectual property development.
  • Stay current on software technologies and apply them to advance state-of-the-art imaging solutions.
