Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) ROCGJP00039212 Senior SDET Pay and Benefits: Hourly pay: $50-$60/hr Worksite: Leading biotech company (Tucson, AZ 85755 - Onsite) W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL 40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment A leading biotech company is seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their agile Software Development Team within the Pathology Lab R&D. This role extends beyond just identifying defects and will be vital in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies, automation frameworks, and test cases.

Requirements

5+ years progressive experience in software development and testing, with a significant focus on test automation framework design and implementation.
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.)
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, functional, non-functional, regression, integration, system, acceptance).
Significant experience with industry-standard test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
Adept in at least one object-oriented programming and scripting language used for test automation (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
Proficient using CI/CD tools and test management tools and processes (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Experience using AI tools to perform automated test planning, development, execution, analysis and reporting.
Proven experience in mentoring and training junior team members.
Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
