In this role, you will work with our senior engineers to design and implement systems that orchestrate thousands of databases. You will build a foundational platform consisting of web service APIs and workflows which make Aurora Serverless highly available, scalable, reliable and fast. This is a hands-on position where you will be asked to do everything from building rock-solid components to mentoring other engineers. You need to be not only a top software developer with a good track record of delivering, but also excel in communication, leadership and customer focus. Requirements

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Nice To Haves

5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
