Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with core stack: JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, React, Express, Turbo.
• 4+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS, with a strong understanding of performance optimization.
• Experienced in API design, architecting backend systems, database modelling, OOP, ERD diagrams.
• Experienced in building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of modern software development practices (devops, automated testing, observability, etc).
• Proficient in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Successful track record of operating as part of multi-functional teams in fast-paced, agile environments.
• Highly effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead Backend Development: You'll take the lead in designing and developing the backend systems for the Flowise application.
• Improve and Execute: Make Flowise the best visual low-code tool for building AI agents by helping to improve our backend services.
• Collaborate and Implement: Partner with leaders and teams across various departments to identify backend software requirements.
• Drive Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor other engineers.
• Navigate Ambiguity: Proactively identify and resolve issues within the backend systems.

Benefits

• Annualized base salary range: $172,800 USD - $259,200 USD for primary location.
• Additional US location base pay range: $145,900 USD - $259,200 USD.
• Eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or role-specific commission/bonus.
• Annual refresh stock grants.
