About The Position

The Senior Software Developer role at Randstad Digital, LLC involves developing, designing, coding, testing, and supporting various components of the ADS data warehouse and Big Data processing framework. The position requires collaboration with functional IT areas, QA, and production support, along with maintaining documentation and addressing client/user needs.

Requirements

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the proffered position, or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations.
• 2 years of experience developing Big Data IT and frameworks, data ingestion wrappers, queries, scripts.
• Experience performing debugging and using Hadoop, Hive, Scala, Sqoop, Python, Shell, SQL, Apache Spark.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Hbase, Impala, Kafka, Flume, Oozie, MapReduce, S3, Java, Exadata, NoSQL, Cassandra, Neo4j, Jira, AutoSys.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, code, test, and support ADS data warehouse and Big Data processing framework.
• Create data ingestion wrappers, queries, scripts, and programs.
• Review requirements and collaborate with functional IT areas, QA, and production support.
• Maintain documentation and identify/debug problems.
• Analyze client/user needs and recommend modifications.
• Formulate validation plans.
