About The Position

As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs. This team supports Identity and Access Management solutions for merchant clients as a part of the greater Merchant Solutions tech organization at Fiserv.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years of experience using Java, RESTful APIs, JDBC
• 3+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Based technologies with highly available and scalable architecture
• 3+ years of experience using framework such as Spring Boot or equivalent, Microservices Architecture
• 3+ years of experience using one or more Relational DB (MYSQL)
• 3+ year of experience in CI/CD concepts and tools such as Git/GitLabs, Maven, Jenkins, etc
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of test-driven development methodology
• Strong experience on event-based architecture leading strategy, governance, and execution of event-based architecture at large institutions
• Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with Jira board process
• Financial services/Payments industry experience
• Experience with security implementations such as Voltage, Sonatype, Web Inspect, Fortify

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities
