About The Position

Looking to advance your career in software development? CoVantage Credit Union is seeking a Senior Software Developer 1 to work with a creative and exciting team on software development projects per credit union standards. This individual will primarily focus on digital systems such as mobile, online banking, and staff facing systems. As well as leading agile software development projects including applications, websites, backend services, cloud/web/REST services, API integrations, and databases. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in software development or Bachelor’s degree in computer related major or equivalent experience
  • Deep understanding of programming concepts and methods
  • Experience on various sizes of software projects and across the full stack of current and legacy technologies
  • Software development experience with HTML/HTML5, XML, .NET, C#, SQL, Java Script, JQuery, Azure DevOps, Azure functions, containers, WCF, REST, SOAP, unit and integration testing through automation, code quality tools, continuous integration/delivery, automated deployment, Visual Studio.Net, and Razor MVC
  • Designing and managing API Gateways for all API development
  • SQL Server database development experience using SSIS, Azure Data Services, T-SQL

Responsibilities

  • Particular focus will be on critical digital systems such as mobile and online banking as well as staff facing systems
  • Mentors others on development approaches and the various systems in the credit union
  • Leads development across all systems, databases and the full stack of development languages and technologies
  • Works with business units with clear communication of status of requests, projects, or other technical needs
  • Coordinates and manages all work with business stakeholders and ensures business requirements are met by an early, and often feedback loop
  • Keeps abreast of new technology and industry developments and embraces a continuous learning philosophy to approaching work
