About The Position

CACI is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team! In this role, you will provide dynamic support to include the design, development, testing, and integration of mission-focused applications. You will work closely with an Information Technology (IT) Systems Engineering team supporting the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS).
The Senior Software Developer will bring their expertise in designing, developing, upgrading and maintaining a new User Experience (UX) Data Integration Platform. You will work with the team to build an integration hub to ingest data from multiple Enterprise IT technology solutions with the goal of building enterprise visibility.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance
• 12+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).
• Proficient Software Development skills in Java, Python, C++, and HTML
• DoD 8140 compliant Security+ Certification
• ITIL V4 familiarization and understanding
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Recommend experience in Cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), and mobile development

Responsibilities

• Develops custom solutions for specialized mission sets based on customer needs and requirements
• Ability to innovate and stay up to date on cutting edge tools and technologies, creating new ways to protect data and communicate or secure information utilizing custom or open-source designs
• Responsible for Ingest Pipelines and Application Programming Interface
• Remain flexible in order to understand customers’ needs and able to perform rapid prototype development in order to field test prototypes and updates to current solutions
• Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements
• Assists in the preparation of internal software design documentation.
• Develops the critical components of the solution, including but not limited to, security, rules infrastructure, custom adapter implementation, and application interfaces
• Employs best practices for design, development, unit testing and test plan development
• Supports completed software throughout the Software Development Life Cycle and in production
