About The Position
Ignite is an ISO 9001:2015 and CMMI Services Level 3 certified, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama. Ignite is seeking a Senior Software Developer that provides technical leadership for enterprise-level applications supporting USASMDC missions. The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) is responsible for delivering global missile defense, space operations, and strategic deterrence capabilities in support of Combatant Commands and national defense objectives. This role ensures software solutions are secure, scalable, and mission aligned. Contingent upon contract award.
Requirements
- Secret clearance (required)
- 8+ years of enterprise software development experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft and Oracle environments
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead software design and architecture efforts
- Develop complex web-based and database-driven applications
- Support Oracle Linux scripting, backups, and system patching
- Provide mentorship and technical oversight
