Intrahealth is seeking a Senior React Software Developer fluent in AI-first development to help build the next generation of our flagship electronic medical record platform. You will work with React and TypeScript, delivering frontend experiences that support tens of thousands of healthcare providers across Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Requirements

• Demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) and agentic coding workflows.
• 7+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, build, test, and deploy frontend features using React and TypeScript. Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.
• AI-First Delivery: You don't build features by hand. You build the AI engineering harness that delivers features. AI coding tools and agentic workflows are how you work, not something you're evaluating. You are expected to be faster and more capable because of how you use AI — and to keep pushing the boundary of what that means.
• Agentic Orchestration: Help build and refine the systems that build our software. Contribute to agentic orchestration pipelines and harness engineering patterns that automate the development lifecycle — from ticket to tested pull request. We invest in systems that build features, not in hand-coding every feature.
• Automation Over Review: We practice an Agentic SDLC — AI writes code, automation validates it through hard CI gates (type checking, linting, testing, security scanning), and humans approve behavior rather than reading code. You are expected to work within and improve this model, not route around it.
• Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve complex technical challenges across the frontend stack. Identify risks early and propose practical, scalable solutions.
• Architecture & Design: Contribute to architectural decisions including component design, state management, API integration patterns, and frontend scalability. We use Feature-Sliced Design with strict, CI-enforced module boundaries — you'll help evolve and maintain that architecture.
• Domain Expertise: Develop deep understanding of product functionality and the healthcare workflows it supports. Become a subject matter expert in one or more key product areas.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Architecture, and Support teams to validate functionality, clarify requirements, and ensure successful releases. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Quality & Engineering Practices: Take full ownership of quality from development through production. Write and maintain unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end tests. Participate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements. You are responsible for what you ship.
