About The Position

Susquehanna is looking for a Software Developer to join our HR Technology & Shared Services team in our Bala Cynwyd headquarters. As a Software Developer, you’ll work alongside our multidisciplinary team that delivers secure, scalable solutions. Through business analysis, project management, development, and data analytics - and operating within a self-administered infrastructure designed for high security and autonomy - we provide support across all HR, Compensation, and sensitive technology platforms. With guidance and mentoring from your team, you’ll get hands-on experience beginning on your first day. You will join a collaborative and supportive environment where you'll have the opportunity to grow your skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and learn from experienced mentors.
In this role, you will:
Develop a wide variety of web applications for our global corporate stakeholders
Develop a web application to manage reporting of trading activities
Build an application that scrapes communications from market exchanges and enables technology teams to plan for appropriate updates.
Optimize existing websites and applications for a mobile audience

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline, plus three (3) years of progressive experience developing software applications. Relevant experience can be substituted for education.
• Recent hands-on experience with either C# or Java technologies
• Strong communicator & team collaborator with ability to be a quick learner while adapting to new technologies
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
• Willingness and ability to work in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle

Nice To Haves

• Experience with web development is a plus
• Web Development experience is a plus
• AI experience is a plus
• SQL experience is a plus
• Scripting experience (PowerShell or Python, for example) is a plus
