About The Position

Susquehanna is looking for a Software Developer to join our HR Technology & Shared Services team in our Bala Cynwyd headquarters. As a Software Developer, you’ll work alongside our multidisciplinary team that delivers secure, scalable solutions. Through business analysis, project management, development, and data analytics - and operating within a self-administered infrastructure designed for high security and autonomy - we provide support across all HR, Compensation, and sensitive technology platforms. With guidance and mentoring from your team, you’ll get hands-on experience beginning on your first day. In this role, you will: Develop a wide variety of web applications for our global corporate stakeholders Develop a web application to manage reporting of trading activities Build an application that scrapes communications from market exchanges and enables technology teams to plan for appropriate updates. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline, plus three (3) years of progressive experience developing software applications. Relevant experience can be substituted for education.
  • Recent hands-on experience with either C# or Java technologies
  • Strong communicator & team collaborator with ability to be a quick learner while adapting to new technologies
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
  • Willingness and ability to work in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with web development is a plus
  • Web Development experience is a plus
  • AI experience is a plus
  • SQL experience is a plus
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell or Python, for example) is a plus
