You do not have to have previous comms or nuclear experience; we will provide the training and tools to help grow the skills you will need to become a subject matter expert. You will learn from the best and brightest in the comms and nuclear deterrence domain working at Collins Aerospace.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required
- Previous Professional experience in finance, earned value, and working as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
- Experience working in MS Excel and MS Project
Nice To Haves
- Experience maintaining a software development team's cost and schedule
- Experience developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Demonstrated experience with the JIRA application tool
- Experience in Agile development methods, including Scrum, automated testing, and continuous integration preferred
- Previous professional background in software development lifecycle models and processes for department of defense contracts
- Experience with monthly and quarterly financial budgets
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for providing direct support to stakeholders to answer questions and solve technical issues
- You will work with other team members and domains to maintain and develop tasks and provide status on program schedules
- You will be responsible for producing quantifiable metrics for an integrated program schedule
- You will provide monthly and quarterly reports on current earned value metrics
- You will communicate and collaborate with other Senior and Principal Level Software Engineers
