As our next Software Control Account Manager, you'll immerse yourself in the intricacies of Strategic Nuclear Deterrence, bringing your acumen to the forefront of innovation and ensuring the efficacy and security of systems that are vital to national defense. You do not have to have previous comms or nuclear experience; we will provide the training and tools to help grow the skills you will need to become a subject matter expert. You will learn from the best and brightest in the comms and nuclear deterrence domain working at Collins Aerospace.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required
  • Previous Professional experience in finance, earned value, and working as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
  • Experience working in MS Excel and MS Project

Nice To Haves

  • Experience maintaining a software development team's cost and schedule
  • Experience developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Demonstrated experience with the JIRA application tool
  • Experience in Agile development methods, including Scrum, automated testing, and continuous integration preferred
  • Previous professional background in software development lifecycle models and processes for department of defense contracts
  • Experience with monthly and quarterly financial budgets

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for providing direct support to stakeholders to answer questions and solve technical issues
  • You will work with other team members and domains to maintain and develop tasks and provide status on program schedules
  • You will be responsible for producing quantifiable metrics for an integrated program schedule
  • You will provide monthly and quarterly reports on current earned value metrics
  • You will communicate and collaborate with other Senior and Principal Level Software Engineers
