Requirements

  • Us Citizenship and Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science, 10+ years direct and relevant experience with RTCA/DO-178 processes including experience with Real Time Operating Systems for Safety Critical Design Assurance Level Software.
  • Direct and relevant experience with RTCA/DO-297 tailored for Defense Aviation
  • In-depth experience with MOSA and FACE definition and architecture approaches
  • Familiarity with Airworthiness processes (Army, NAVAIR, DAF)
  • Familiarity with Reference Architectures to include EAF, AMS-GRA, A-GRA, FAF, OMS, Big Iron

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) familiarity
  • CAST-32A familiarity

Responsibilities

  • Candidate will be responsible for the planning, development and execution of Software Aspects of an Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) System to achieve successful integration with an existing Aviation Platform.
  • Candidate will engage with DoW clients to include Army Aviation, NAVAIR and Air Force as well as sub-tier suppliers to ensure that the software solution is architected in accordance with the Modular Open System Approach (MOSA) principles
  • Candidate will contribute to an overall Modular Mission Software Strategy to speed Technology Upgrades and Capability insertion to various platforms.
