About The Position

The Central Software Monetization Architect is responsible for designing the technical architecture for license key enforcement and entitlement management across all product lines. This role defines and maintains a unified entitlement and licensing model to enable bundled and flexible monetization strategies across firmware and application codebases. The architect collaborates with product engineering teams, product managers, and external license technology vendors such as Thales to enforce standardization and scale revenue-focused capabilities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Architecture, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience designing enterprise software systems, with at least 3 years focused on licensing, entitlement, or monetization systems.
  • Hands-on experience with licensing tools such as Thales Sentinel EMS or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, application-layer architectures, and multi-product systems design.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-functional alignment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cross-platform SDK abstraction and reusable module design.
  • Background in product-line engineering or systems that span embedded and cloud environments.
  • Exposure to ERP or billing system integration (e.g., Oracle EBS).

Responsibilities

  • Define a reusable, cross-product license enforcement framework compatible with Thales EMS SDKs.
  • Establish technical standards for entitlement enforcement in firmware (C/C++) and application (Java/.NET) environments.
  • Create and maintain shared libraries or integration modules to accelerate adoption across product lines.
  • Review and guide integration designs from product engineering teams to ensure consistency and security.
  • Advise offering and product teams on monetization-aware architecture, including license grouping and bundling strategies.
