As a Data Architect within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Data Product Leader to drive the strategy, development, and delivery of data products for PNC bank. You will be responsible for defining and executing a roadmap that leverages data and AI to solve business challenges, enhance customer experience, and create a competitive advantage within the financial services industry. Leads in the overall design of cross-functional, multi-platform, and Web-based application systems; oversees all application system processes. Develops application architecture and blueprints aimed at reflecting enterprise business logic. Defines application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools. Directs mapping activities on specific technology platforms. Provides technical guidance to application development teams. Consults on integration and conversion activities. Conducts reviews, and analyses organizational needs and goals to develop and implement applications. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Define and Evangelize Data Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear vision for the bank's data product portfolio, aligned with overall business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the Full Data Product Life Cycle: Drive the end-to-end development of data products, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch, adoption, and iteration.
  • Translate Business Needs into Actionable Solutions: Partner with stakeholders across various lines of business (e.g., retail banking, wealth management, corporate and investment banking) to understand their data needs and translate them into concrete product requirements.
  • Champion Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data products meet high standards of quality, reliability, security, and compliance with financial regulations and ethical data practices.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a central hub, effectively bridging the gap between technical data teams (e.g., data engineers, data scientists) and business stakeholders.
  • Build and Mentor a High-Performing Team: Recruit, develop, and manage a team of talented data product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Monitor Product Performance and Drive Improvement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data products and continuously iterate based on feedback and performance analysis.
  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Maintain a deep understanding of the latest advancements in data, analytics, AI, and related technologies within the financial services sector.
