Senior Snowflake Data Engineer

About The Role We are looking for a Data Engineer -Azure & Snowflake, DBT, to join our team in Melbourne, Australia This is a high-impact leadership role; you will play a key part in designing and delivering modern, enterprise-scale data platforms for our clients. You will lead by owning architecture decisions, guiding engineering teams, and partnering closely with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable cloud solutions.
Requirements
- More than 6 years of experience in data engineering, ideally within consulting or professional services
- Proven experience leading and delivering large-scale enterprise data programs
- Deep hands-on expertise in: Azure data services (Data Lake, Synapse, Azure SQL, etc.) Azure Data Factory (ADF), Snowflake, dbt
- Advanced SQL skills and strong data modelling expertise (dimensional modelling, ELT patterns)
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-native data architectures
- Experience implementing data quality, lineage, and governance frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership capability across multi-stakeholder delivery environments
