About The Position

Deliver resilient application stacks via "Infrastructure as Code" and other DevOps practices. Automate any recurring toil tasks to improve efficiency. Monitor and provide on-going support of critical, high revenue business applications. Diagnose and resolve complex system and application issues. Work with diverse technical and non-technical teams, including Development, QA, IT Operations, Product SRE and Project Management teams. Write and maintain systems / application documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. Improve, maintain and support in-house automation tools like GitHub IAC CI/CD Pipelines, AWS & Azure automation, front end UI change management tools. Create and implement standard modules/pipelines in order to be consumed by a wider BUs within the organization. Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required.
  • 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.
  • Also required is: 5 years of experience: working as a part of the team to evaluate current systems and make decisions to build futuristic systems for optimal performance; developing and maintaining web applications using ASP.NET, C# in Visual Studio ensuring high performance; designing SQL Server databases, creating complex queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS); managing SQL server database applications and performing schema changes using SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT); developing responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery ensuring an intuitive user experience across different devices; developing Collections portal using Vue JS, JavaScript and Nuxt Js which is used by customers to streamline invoicing and payment workflow; developing Command Center UI portal using Angular JS, HTML, CSS; developing SOAP web services and using SoapUI for testing; designing, developing, and testing RESTful AP 1s for various products using Postman; working in Embedded environments on MFD devices to provide Cost recovery, document routing and scanning solutions to customers; maintaining Cl/CD pipelines using VSTS to automate deployment processes; working in an agile environment; managing project tasks, tracking progress using JIRA and documenting project requirements and any technical specifications using Confluence thereby ensuring timely delivery of milestones and effective communication within the team; and utilizing Splunk and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) for log management and monitoring.
  • Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in Evanston, IL, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.
  • Experience can be concurrent.
