Smith and Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. If you are not currently within commuting distance, you must be willing to relocate (note that Onebrief will provide relocation assistance). Active Top Secret Clearance required; SCI eligibility is a plus.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an SRE engineer.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience managing mission-critical systems within DoD’s air-gapped networks.
• Familiarity with DoD IT environment.
• Experience in both DoD on-premise environments and AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of Linux, containers, virtual machines, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in VMware, AWS, Docker, Helm, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Comfortable working at the command line.
• Experience in setting up backups, logging, and alerting at various layers of the OSI model.
• Expertise in system monitoring and incident response processes.
• Resourceful and self-sufficient in air-gapped environments.
• Collaborative mindset to work with developers.
• Certified with Security+ or another DoD 8570.01-approved security credential.

Responsibilities

• Be the first line of support for mission critical deployments.
• Ensure best in class service quality and issue resolution.
• Work in both on-premise DoD environments and AWS cloud environments.
• Contribute directly to solutions that increase stability, performance, and security of deployments.
• Improve the overall experience of deploying and managing Onebrief on premise.
