About The Position

The Senior Site Project Manager is responsible for onsite coordination of project related activities and communications that will ensure the successful execution of the project. The position is such that it must be performed at the project site. The focus of these activities will be Specification, Compliance, Quality, Material’s coordination, testing and documentation. The successful execution of these activities will ensure the project is proceeding on plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or related experience.
• 8+ years’ experience in the material handling industry or site project management related.
• Experience managing a department or focused work team.
• Experience with detailed scheduling.
• Experience working with customers in planning and troubleshooting issues.
• Experience in coordinating department activities with other departments.
• Industrial industry and Conveyor experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager with projects having a $15 - 60M budget.
• Work with other departments and subcontractors in an effective and productive manner.
• Effectively communicate with the customer.
• Schedule and maintain engineering activities for projects.
• Develop solutions to installation and other mechanical issues.
• Communicate and collaborate with others and other departments.
• Analyze progress and determine issues in the schedule in a timely manner.
• Juggle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Make tactical decisions and ensure their execution.
• Be results focused.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• 100% time on site.
