Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or international equivalent from an accredited institution, preferably in a finance, technical, clinical, or health-related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • 3 to 5 years of practical experience in global site finance activities and/or clinical trial finance including hands-on experience writing, interpreting, or reviewing payment terms in global Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs). Alternately, must have proven experience in all primary job functions
  • Demonstrates excellent English verbal and written communication skills and strong Excel skills
  • Proven ability to drive a successful customer experience through positive customer interactions, provision of quality and timely deliverables, and task ownership

  • Previous project management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Understand and manage the life cycle of clinical site payment administration from protocol schedule of activities, database build through to payment execution
  • Assess EDC design and data collection to ensure accurate and complete mapping to budget construct and timely payment triggering
  • Ability to make decisions on processes that involve a high degree of complexity and interdependencies (e.g., site relationships, budgets and contracts, regulatory requirements, language, tax, currency, etc.)
  • Ensure appropriate contracts, work orders and funding are in place to execute site payments
  • Support Audit activities related to investigator payments including data requests from internal audit, responding to queries and developing remediation plans for any findings
  • Liaises with the sponsor as needed to resolve issues that cannot be resolved within the organization
