Senior Simulation Engineer (Hybrid)

TargetMinneapolis, MN
1d$87,000 - $187,000Hybrid

About The Position

The Senior Simulation Engineer working in the Design Engineering team will apply simulation to model, validate and optimize world class supply chain automation projects that will result in an enhanced Target Guest experience by increasing the speed and accuracy of processing goods through Target’s internal supply chain. This position will report to the Director of Design Engineering. The Sr. Simulation Engineer will collaborate with design, automation and visualization engineers; multiple internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop simulation models at the appropriate level of detail, acquire and develop datasets from internal and external data sources, validate sub-system performance using the model as a proxy, and leverage model experimentation to accommodate changes during firm engineering. This position will be located in Minneapolis, MN or Sunnyvale, CA and will work collaboratively and under the supervision of Lead & Principal Engineers to model, validate and improve designs for workstations, work cells, and sub-systems in the Target Supply Chain.
