TrinityRail is hiring a Senior Shipping/Receiving at our Fort Worth, TX plant. Our products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and our economy. The Senior Shipping/Receiving position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. In this position you will perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and/or shipping of raw materials/finished goods. Will operate mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse/manufacturing facilities. May utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders and maintain inventory.

Requirements

• 2 - 4 years of related experience.
• Operate 15,000 pound or higher forklift system.
• Comprehensive knowledge of shipping and receiving documentation and procedures.
• Unloads, stages and loads shipments as requested.

Responsibilities

• Activities related to the receiving and shipping of materials or finished goods.
• Reviews receipt of materials to ensure materials received is correct.
• Ensures the security and accountability of materials.
• Ensures packaged goods are loaded according to documentation and bills of lading.
• Operates a forklift to move materials as required.
• May use systems such as BPIC (Business Planning Inventory Control System).
• Follows all safety rules and practices.
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
