About The Position

ASRC Federal is seeking a qualified Senior Point Developer to support the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) in Peachtree City, GA. This role involves onsite work developing, enhancing, and supporting Point-based solutions for enterprise collaboration, with potential for telework as authorized by the government. The Senior Point Developer will provide full lifecycle development and support for Microsoft Point environments within DoDEA. This includes designing and implementing Point-based solutions that meet operational and business needs, integrating with other platforms, and ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity and governance requirements. The role will work closely with IT teams, end-users, and leadership to deliver scalable and secure collaboration solutions.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Active SECRET security clearance.
  • Tier 3 background investigation clearance (NACLC).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with Point development and administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Point Online, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), SPFx, and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Point REST API.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoD or federal agencies.
  • Familiarity with Agile development and DevSecOps environments.
  • Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform Developer Associate or Point Developer.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity compliance, STIGs, and RMF practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Point Online and Point 2016/2019 environments.
  • Build custom Point web parts, workflows, forms, and solutions using Power Platform, SPFx, and other modern tools.
  • Integrate Point with other Microsoft 365 services including Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with governance and compliance standards.
  • Support migration from older Point versions or other CMS platforms to Point Online.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers or support staff.
  • Maintain documentation for solutions, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Point performance, permission, and configuration issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Participate in planning, sprint reviews, and Agile ceremonies as needed.
