The Senior Services Project Manager - Inspections Product Development will be responsible for the execution of internal projects associated with Nuclear Inspection Services product development within GEH. In this role, the individual will work within the services division of GEH to manage the engineering projects associated with product development throughout the different Inspections Product Lines (IVVI, IVUT, ISI, Fuel Inspection) to facilitate new product and technology development. The individual will report to the Inspection Services PMO and will work to coordinate with business leaders to plan and execute engineering project work scopes to meet the required criteria (SQDC) as they relate to project budget and scope. The individual will provide support to the Inspection Services business by maintaining visibility into product development project KPIs, and customer CTQs involving oversight to the financial/schedule performance of multiple projects running concurrently and overall PMO-established process adherence. This position is based at our headquarters in Wilmington, NC. Must be willing to relocate (relocation assistance provided) if not already local.

  • Execute internal project management for product development.
  • Integrate with the Outage and Inspection Services Project Management Specialist on best practices/alignment of continuous improvement efforts.
  • Utilize established project management standard work practices to track and report on internal product development.
  • Update and maintain relative areas of the Inspection Services Internal Project Funnel for integrated strategy.
  • Interface with Product Line Leaders, Product Technical Experts, and Customers on technological needs and best practices.
  • Integrate with engineering operations via PMO-established project management standard work.
  • Interface with Plant Services Plant Engineer to streamline product development approaches and mitigate risk.
  • Perform transition planning for developed products to assimilate operationally.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance for first-time delivery of newly developed/modified products.
  • Interface with customers during first-time delivery of newly developed/modified products.
  • Ensure project metrics are met while delivering agreed upon procedural expectations.
  • Participate in facilitating the continuous improvement of processes/associated tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline with a minimum of 3-5 years of Project/Program Management experience -OR- High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 5-7 years of Project/Program Management experience.
  • Experience in Services Tooling Development with a minimum of 2 years of integration with engineering processes and project management.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time.
  • Ability and willingness to support two customer outages per year (1 Spring, 1 Fall).
  • Ability and willingness to pass Fitness-for-Duty requirements and site security requirements.
  • Ability and willingness to work in radiation-controlled areas and radioactively contaminated areas.
  • Ability and willingness to work 12 hours a day, 7 days per week when delivering field projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge/experience working with BWR 2-6 Inspections.
  • Market and operational knowledge of Inspection Services products, processes, customers, markets, and competition.
  • Application of lean methodologies for process continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others to achieve shared results.
