About The Position

Dragonfli Group is a cybersecurity and IT consulting firm providing services to federal agencies and Fortune 100 enterprises. Headquartered in Washington, DC, Dragonfli supports clients in securing mission-critical systems across on-site, hybrid, and fully remote environments. The Senior ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Engineer supports a large federal organization by serving as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) and associated security workflows. This role requires 7+ years of cybersecurity or vulnerability management experience, including deep, hands-on expertise with the ServiceNow platform, scripting, integrations, automation, dashboarding, and vulnerability remediation processes. The position combines platform ownership, technical leadership, and cross-functional coordination to ensure enterprise vulnerability remediation activities are effective, scalable, and aligned with organizational risk priorities. This is a contract position involving a large US federal agency. Candidates with previous federal contracting experience are preferred. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. If hired, all work related to this role must be performed within the continental U.S.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of ServiceNow Vulnerability Response.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expert-level knowledge and proficiency with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and associated modules.
  • Develop, test, and deploy scripts using JavaScript.
  • Develop and troubleshoot VR integrations, including APIs and service graph connectors.
  • Design and develop VR-focused dashboards and reports.
  • Administer procedures to sustain data security and access controls.
  • Assess risk of data exposure through platform weaknesses.
  • Review and present data to meet remediation needs.
  • Automate data extrapolation and dissemination.
  • Investigate and assign cybersecurity vulnerabilities for various systems.
  • Manage multiple projects of varying complexity and risk.
  • Evaluate and support documentation and remediation processes.
  • Serve as SME for the VRM process, providing guidance as necessary.
