As a Senior ServiceNow Developer with AI Experience, you will play a vital role at Nuvitek. You will work closely with an experienced team of developers and engineers in an Agile environment to modernize customer applications using low-code and AI-enhanced solutions, while continuously enhancing the ServiceNow platform across various implementations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical field
  • 5–7+ years of professional experience within the ServiceNow ecosystem with hands-on development expertise across multiple modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience developing on the Now Platform, including Flow Designer, App Engine, IntegrationHub, and Service Portal
  • 2+ years of practical experience integrating AI and automation technologies within the ServiceNow platform — such as Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent, or GenAI-powered components
  • Experience designing and implementing complex integrations (REST, SOAP, SSO, OAuth, MID Servers, Data Migration) with a focus on intelligent decision automation
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow data models and architecture, including CMDB, Asset Management, and Performance Analytics
  • ServiceNow certifications (Certified System Administrator and at least one Implementation Specialist or Application Developer certification)
  • Ability to analyze data and workflows to identify AI-driven opportunities for optimization
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder, ability to attain public trust clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing, tuning, or integrating AI/ML models with ServiceNow applications
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow’s AI Search, Generative AI Controller, and AI Workbench
  • Knowledge of Python, TensorFlow, or other AI/ML frameworks integrated with ServiceNow
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services connected to ServiceNow
  • Experience working in an Agile DevSecOps environment with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills in remote and hybrid work environments
  • Previous experience supporting Federal Government clients or similar environments

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions that incorporate AI, machine learning, and automation capabilities to improve user experience and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions using the ServiceNow AI framework, including GenAI and Virtual Agent enhancements
  • Customize and extend ServiceNow applications (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, etc.) and leverage App Engine to build intelligent workflows and predictive analytics
  • Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow integrations with AI-driven services and APIs, leveraging both ServiceNow-native and external AI models
  • Conduct unit testing, peer reviews, and participate in code quality assurance to ensure efficient and secure deployments
  • Participate in and contribute to Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Grooming, and Retrospectives
  • Present deliverables and demonstrate new capabilities at sprint reviews and client meetings
  • Contribute to Nuvitek’s innovation initiatives by researching emerging AI technologies within the ServiceNow ecosystem and providing best practice recommendations
  • Develop proof-of-concepts for AI-enabled features and automations that can be scaled across client environments
  • Collaborate with internal teams to document and share knowledge, build standardized AI accelerators, and contribute to internal technical communities
