About The Position

Allied Universal Technology Services® is seeking a Senior Service Technician to lead the delivery of advanced service and support for integrated security systems. In this key role, you will leverage your expertise to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and complex repairs on enterprise-level access control and IP-based video surveillance systems, including electrified locking hardware, card readers, IP/analog cameras, intercoms, video recorders, and both wired and wireless networks. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of field experience, including a minimum of three (3) years of troubleshooting systems.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience servicing access control, video and CCTV.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience and a clean driving record.
  • Experience with software such as Software House, CCURE, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacqvision, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh or ONSSI.
  • Possession of state-specific licensing or ability to obtain and hold license once hired.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to quickly navigate and oversee the use of multiple systems and applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to document and report important information.
  • Available for scheduled 'on-call' duties to respond to emergency service tickets/requests.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills, mechanical and electronics aptitude.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50lbs and work on various ladder heights.

  • Experience and manufacturer certifications in any of the following: Lenel, S2, Genetec, AMAG, Brivo, Milestone, SoftwareHouse/CCURE, Axis, Avigilon, Exacqvision, DMP, Bosch, Edwards (EST), Simplex, Notifier, Firelite.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to commercial client sites to service, repair, troubleshoot, and detect access control equipment and IP-based video security systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced installation issues efficiently and effectively to ensure company compliance, standards and building codes, as well as company safety policies and procedures.
  • Execute, document and track service-related issues through ServiceNow in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations.
  • Provide high level of phone and on-line remote diagnostic support with a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Lead, collaborate and perform tasks with other internal teams and clients as required.
