About The Position

The Senior Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a banking environment, ensuring accurate handling of service transactions while identifying sales and referral opportunities. This role emphasizes customer satisfaction, adherence to bank policies, and operational efficiency, contributing to the overall success of the branch.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of banking or teller experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct customer service to meet banking needs, including handling transactions such as deposits and withdrawals accurately.
  • Demonstrate the USB Customer Service Commitment Charter and maintain a customer-first approach.
  • Ensure confidentiality and privacy of customer information at all times.
  • Respond to customer concerns and refer them to supervisors when necessary.
  • Set clear expectations for follow-up with customers and deliver as promised.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and focus on customer interactions, even when multitasking.
  • Process transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and negotiable items.
  • Adhere to all bank policies and procedures in daily operations.
  • Support the Train the Trainer program as needed and assist in training new Service Representatives.
  • Balance branch cash, ATM, TCD, and vault as required.
  • Assist supervisors with cash ordering and verification of cash shipments.
  • Approve transactions within operational limits and assist with morning and end-of-day duties.
