LabCorp is seeking a Sr Courier to join our team at 396 S Pasadena Ave, Pasadena CA 91105. LabCorp company is seeking a Senior Service Representative / Courier II to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients. Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route. In addition, for only $125 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you and using it for personal use. Pay Range: $17.75 - $35.00 per hour Plus 2nd shift differentials All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Requirements

  • No experience or education required
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Punctual with strong time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to problem solve customer issues
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a floater for the logistics team by providing coverage for various courier routes in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Culver City, Westchester, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, Lomita, Harbor City, San Pedro, Wilmington, Carson, Gardena, Inglewood, Compton, Long Beach, Lynwood, South Gate, Huntington Park, Whittier, East LA, West LA, South Central, Hollywood, Glendale Cudahy, Bell, Bell Gardens, Downey
  • Deliver on‑route training, coaching, and support for new couriers/drivers
  • Assist with dispatch tasks and pickups when required
  • Load all necessary supplies needed for daily pickup routes
  • Complete the daily pickup schedule efficiently and on time
  • Deliver all collected items to your assigned branch at the end of each shift
  • Handle specimens and lab samples safely and in compliance with all protocols and regulations
  • Operate company vehicles safely and follow all traffic laws and company policies
  • Use handheld electronic devices to manage, document, and track daily pickups
  • Communicate closely with the dispatcher regarding additional or urgent pickups
  • Adjust to traffic patterns, weather conditions, and alternative routes as needed
