About The Position

The Change and Release Management SME is a pivotal role within client-facing teams, responsible for leading the assessment, design, development, and implementation of Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) ServiceNow Change and Release Management solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of the ITIL service management lifecycle stages and various processes, ensuring the effective delivery of Change and Release Management solutions. The SME will work closely with clients to assess their current practices, identify areas for improvement, and develop tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. In this role, the Change and Release Management SME will be tasked with performing maturity assessments of the ITSM ServiceNow Change and Release Management practices deployed within client environments. This involves creating transformation roadmaps that outline recommended improvements based on assessment results and client priorities. The SME will also be responsible for defining and developing technical requirements and related project documentation, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness. The position demands extensive knowledge in the development and delivery of ITSM ServiceNow Change and Release Management solutions. The SME will conduct value-based assessments and workshops to help clients maximize their business results from ServiceNow software. Additionally, the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions is crucial, as is the experience in developing technical documentation as specified in customer contracts and internal requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as the SME will manage a team of resources and collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
