About The Position

Water Works is seeking a Service Lead for our San Diego office. The Service Lead will apply broad technical, specialized/complex knowledge and deep customer understanding across Service units/areas and the highest degree of professional knowledge and act as a mentor for Service professionals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a relevant field
  • Ability to develop quickly in the role
  • Takes lead in solving complex issues with customers
  • Ability to coach and mentor senior technicians and check quality of their work
  • Deep knowledge in specific products and applications
  • Works under limited supervision
  • Strong ability to influence others
  • Ability to troubleshoot on multiple factors
  • Mechanical and hydraulic technical skills, and knowledge of processes
  • Proven experience supporting key business initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of best practices and relevant practices, systems in the service environment
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and personal protective equipment (PPE)

Responsibilities

  • Execution of agreed service inspections as well as replacements of parts in accordance with service agreement including on more complex installations
  • Communicate to customers and colleagues regarding the need for further repairs/maintenance as well as site conditions that impact operations or lifetime of water treatment equipment
  • Frequent travel to customers
  • Service report
  • Quality control of installation for newly installed water treatment equipment, system, or solution
  • Start-up and initial adjustment of water treatment systems
  • Plan and execute installation of complex and structured plants in corporation with Sales department
