About The Position

The Service Center Technician will be responsible for executing service activities at service center locations in a safe and efficient manner. This role includes system troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment and can identify and remedy safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). The technician may interact with customers.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 0 to 2 years of technical work experience
  • Electrical and/or mechanical repair experience
  • Work without direct supervision
  • Technically sound
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including smart devices
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
  • Synthesizes technical information and communicates it clearly
  • Derives insight from customer experience to produce outcomes and solve moderately complex problems often in novel and unexpected ways
  • Knowledge of DC electric and circuit testing skills
  • Knowledge of AC electric motors, up to 500v systems
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools and lifting equipment
  • Ability to demonstrate logical troubleshooting processes
  • Familiarity with fluke meter and megger testing

  • 1 year preferred of technical work experience

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain safe working environment and culture within the organization

  • Usually works with direct supervision but can work independently if needed
  • Troubleshoot, repair and rebuild Electrical systems, Controls, and Electrical pumps
  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and service on various products as directed.
  • Diagnose and report any damage to the Manager.
  • Create accurate and legible parts and repair list for assigned products.
  • Review list of parts with Manager and obtain approval to continue with servicing and repair.
  • Test all repaired equipment for proper operation and quality.
