At a new, high-growth memory and chip company, the Senior Semiconductor Recruiter will be a core partner in building world-class IC design teams across the U.S. and Europe. This role is for a true semiconductor specialist: someone who already recruits chip and hardware engineers and feels at home in the analog, digital, and mixed-signal design ecosystem. You will work as an embedded talent partner, owning the end-to-end hiring journey for critical IC and hardware roles. This includes defining requirements with founders and technical leaders, mapping niche markets, headhunting senior talent, and guiding candidates through a thoughtful, high-touch process. The focus is on building long-term hiring foundations for a new memory / chip business, not just filling requisitions. What you will be hiring Analog IC Design Engineers Digital / RTL / SoC Design Engineers Ideally also: Verification, Layout, Test / DFT Engineers Potentially later: Firmware engineers close to hardware This is a role for someone who lives in the IC / chip design world and can comfortably cover most functions around the chip rather than acting as a general tech recruiter.

  • Own full-cycle recruitment across semiconductor / IC design roles: defining profiles, sourcing, interviewing, and managing offers.
  • Build and nurture pipelines of Senior and Principal analog and digital IC design engineers in highly competitive markets.
  • Run targeted headhunting campaigns for niche profiles, leveraging networks instead of relying on job ads.
  • Provide clear market insight, search progress, and data-driven recommendations to founders, CTO, and IC leads.
  • Champion and articulate the story of a new memory / chip company to senior engineers and technical leaders.
  • 5+ years’ experience recruiting in Tech
  • Experience recruiting semiconductors / IC design, ideally across both analog and digital domains.
  • Proven track record placing Senior and Principal IC design engineers.
  • Solid working knowledge of key tools and concepts: Cadence, CMOS, Verilog, mixed-signal, NVM / memory (enough to speak credibly with engineers).
  • Established networks across Europe (ideally DACH), France, global chip companies, and the U.S.
  • Experience in headhunting and market mapping for hard-to-find profiles, not just managing inbound applications.
  • Confident partnering directly with founders, CTO, and IC leads as a trusted advisor.
  • Comfortable in a small, fast-moving startup environment with high autonomy and evolving priorities.
  • Strong storyteller who can sell the mission, technology, and growth journey of a new memory / chip company, not just the job title and compensation.
  • Structured and proactive in managing pipelines, communicating expectations, and keeping both candidates and stakeholders informed.
  • A competitive salary depending on experience
  • Flexible work arrangements , including hybrid work possibilities , so you can balance life and career in a way that works best for you.
