About The Position

SAIC has an immediate opening for a Senior Security Principal to assist in developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. In this role you will: Study and implement security regulations that apply to customer operations and relay them to supporting contractors, specifically related to space accreditation Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies Conduct security education classes and security audit Investigate security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken Participate in development of advanced concepts, techniques, and standards Establish operational objectives and assignments Be involved in developing, modifying and executing customer policies which impact immediate operation(s) Participate in development of solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation. Challenges are often unique and solutions may serve precedent for future decisions Work under consultative direction toward pre-determined long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated Serve as prime consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Current TS/SCI & Poly
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Intimate working knowledge of customer security process
  • In-depth knowledge of, and experience implementing ICD 705 requirements
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving ability
  • Minimum of 14 years of relevant security experience
  • Ability to maintain periods of extended travel for 4-6 weeks
